1 week down, three to go!

Today marks one week with my IV pump, which means only three weeks to go! I know in the long run it is helping me but it is so dang annoying! I hate being attached to it and the noise it makes is sooo annoying!

Quick relief

This morning I was actually very happy and full of energy and not in a lot of pain so we took full advantage of it! My mom and I went to walgreens and racked up on some rewards points ;) then we went to target and got some cute things for me and my sister and some groceries. After that we went get my picc line bandage changed. Now usually when I go the infusion therapy part is full of eighty year olds, but today when I walked in a saw a young (second grade) girl in the walkway. It was excited to see someone closer to my age but it was sad because she was there because she has leukemia. She was so cute and we were able to talk to her and her mom for a little bit. Later when I was almost done getting my bandage changed the person in the "room" next to me moved the curtain over and asked "Did I hear you have Lyme disease?" Turns out she is a twenty year old that also has Lyme disease! And she lives in the same town as me! So crazy. After my bandage change we went to Noodles and Company because I had a coupon. We had to leave early because I was starting to feel unwell, but when I got home I saw we had a package at the door! It was from my Aunt Christy and was filled with lots of fun and yummy things! I also got a new picc line cover, sooooo cute! (From sleeksleeves.com)

And I also got a very cute card from one of my Instagram friends! I definitely needed that pick-me-up. Since it always disappointing to go from feeling good back to your usual horrible-ness! Now I am in soooooooo much pain! But thankfully it is 8:15 so I will be able to go to sleep soon! Sometimes it's hard to stay motivated but I know I have to keep fighting!
