Anatomy

Anatomy is probably going to be my favorite class this year but also probably my toughest! It is the only class that has given us homework already (not that I have a problem with homework) and we also have weekly prefix/root/suffix quizzes! (Which I'm already studying for) here is an example of the lovely things I get to memorize:

Officially a CNA (kinda) and a Senior!

On Wednesday I finished my CNA class and passed with an A! Now all I have left is the state exam and I will be a licensed CNA! 

Also, today is my first day of my senior year!!

Here is a little collage from some pics that I took from Day 2 out of 5 from my CNA clinicals. It has been physically and emotionally exhausting but it is something that I need to do so I can someday get my BSN and be an amazing nurse! Prayers would be highly appreciated as I complete my last two days of clinicals. 

Doing pretty good!

I've actually been doing pretty good! (For a Lymie anyways) Here are some updates of what's been going on! :) 

I can't remember if I ever posted about this, but I got my picc line taken out!! And now I am on a new oral protocol (below) 

My best friend (Kaylee) is back from Kansas City! She used to live here and is moving back here after graduation to be my roommate during college! :)

I got my hair cut!!!! One of the best decisions I ever made! It's so light an sooo much easier to take care of! I'm lovin it! :) 

Annnndddd last but not least! I've completed the first week of my CNA (certified nursing assistant) class! 

I think it's a four week course (July 29th- August 20th). I was very nervous about it, but I'm holding on! I've done very well the knowledge part of it! (100% on two o my quizzes and 94% on the other). The skills part is what freaks me out the most! So many different skills and steps to remember!! But all I can do is try my best!!! All these nursing things just make me SO much more excited to be a nurse!! I know I am on the right track with what I want to do with my life :) I am so happy I have found something I love and am passionate about!
