Sabrina

One day we decided that we should do eachother's makeup and here is the product! 

This summer Sabrina participated in a "Hip Hop Bootcamp" and at the end of the week they preformed for everybody! 

One night we decided that a walk to the park sounded fun which resulted in Sabrina playing in the sand and getting it all over her pajamas. (: 

Her beautiful hair! She was very excited that her hair was finally long enough to put into one big braid. 

Happy Birthday Mom!

July 11th was my mom's birthday! I had been planning for a while to make sure that this was one of her best birthdays! The day started off with my dad giving my mom jewelry that he had specially made for her. 

Then for lunch we went to Longhorn Steakhouse and give her more presents! My present was a cosmetic case from Vera Bradley. 

Then we gave her her BIG present! Cher tickets!! I had been planning this one for a while. I woke up early when the tickets came on sale to make sure we got the best tickets possible and did my best to keep it secret. She had no idea! :) 

That afternoon we all messed around with purple lipstick that I had gotten in my birchbox! 

Later that day, I watched Sabrina so that my mom and dad could get a couples massage. Then they went out to eat and spent the night at a historic hotel downtown. I think we all did a good job making her birthday special!

Sabrina and I even made a sign to welcome them home! 

Happy 4th of July!

Sorry for the late post, I am really trying to work on actually posting closer to when these events happen! 

Sabrina, mom, and I ended up going to Ames to visit my brother. We walked around at a festival they were having and got dinner. After that we went to Des Moines to hangout and go to Jordan Creek Mall. While we were there I remember that one my friends was there job searching. So I actually met up with her, her sister, and her sister's boyfriend. We drove to the fireworks and make it in time for the finale! We then went back to the hotel, ordered pizza, and had lots of fun! 

Then on July 5th, we made it home to watch the local fireworks show. 

Officially An Endo Warrior

This past Tuesday I had my first laparoscopy. They cut three places and took two biopsies. So now I have officially been diagnosed with Endometriosis. Endometriosis is when the lining of your uterus grows outside of your uterus. Here are some of the symptoms that people with Endo suffer with-

• Pain, which can be:
  • Pelvic pain.
  • Severe menstrual cramps.
  • Low backache 1 or 2 days before the start of the menstrual period (or earlier).
  • Pain during sexual intercourse.
  • Rectal pain.
  • Pain during bowel movements.
• Infertility may be the only sign that you have endometriosis. Between 20% and 40% of women who are infertile have endometriosis.
• Abnormal bleeding. This can include:
• Blood in the urine or stool.
• Some vaginal bleeding before the start of the menstrual period.
• Vaginal bleeding after sex

  I have an appointment with my doctor in August to talk about potential treatment options. Endometriosis doesn't have a cure but hopefully we will be able to make it more manageable for me!
