Nurse Camp Graduation

This past Friday I finished my six-week summer nurse camp! Here are some pics from graduation (: and my ammmmazzzzinnnggg computer I got for school! :D

I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I should update everyone. For the Fourth of July, I was finally able to meet my Lyme friend (: 

Soon after that, we went on a little family vacation, it was a celebration for my grandparents 50th anniversary! All of my aunts,uncles, and cousins for my moms side were there. My dad and two younger siblings went with everybody else on Tuesday, and my mom, older bro, and I went up on Thursday. Here are a few pics from our day there!

Friday will be my graduation from my six week nursing summer camp, so more pictures are too come! I haven't been able to go as much as I would have liked, thanks to Lyme ;) but I still learned more about nursing and all the different career options and I am more excited then ever to be a nurse! I start my CNA on July 29th! So please be praying for me during this time, as I will definitely be pushing my mental and physical abilities!! Butttt I get to wear scrubs!!! So you will definitely be seeing some pics of those! :D

Lyme update: I will be seeing my LLMD on July 22nd (this Monday) so I will update you more after that! Also, I am planning to have my picc line taken out in the next two weeks or so (WOOOOHOOOO!!!) so I can fully do my CNA, and I am just so ready to have it taken out!! And finally be able to take a shower without wrapping it, put my arm in water, and SWIM!! though I am super nervous about getting it taken out... I was lucky to not feel it going in, but I'm almost 99% sure ill be able to feel it coming out! D: 

My ACT score!!!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS OH MY GOODNESS!!!! :D I got my ACT scores in the mail today and I needed a minimum composite score of 25 to get early admission into the nursing school I'm going to. And LOOK!!!!! :D I GOT IT!!!! I sooooo did not want to take it again! I'm so overwhelmed with happy emotions right now!!

IV vitamins

Today I had my first "trial run" on IV vitamins. We went to the office where I got diagnosed, and got IV vitamins over a hour through my picc line. In the bag was vitamin c, magnesium, the vitamin b's and I don't know what else. We are hoping this will help with my energy and just overall how I'm feeling! We shall see! If things go well, I might go in about once a week. Please be praying this helps me! I've been having a horrible time with feeling weak and fatigued lately! 

Recovery/Treatment

Recovery is tough, but I am tougher! 

Fun day...

So this morning on my way to nursing camp, I got a horrible stab on pain in my upper left chest and it wouldn't go away. My mom didn't want to leave me at camp like that, so went to the hospital ER "quick". This turned into a over 6 hour thing. I got many many blood tests (didn't have to get poked cuz of my picc line!!) and I also got a CAT scan with dye to see if I had any blood clots (I didn't). It literally felt like I was peeing my pants when they put the dye in!!! :o they tried morphine  and tordol to try to help with the pain but it was only temporary. At the end, the just decided it was inflammation from Lyme. Here are some pics from my awesome experience! ;)

Today has been an interesting day.. It all starting last night/early afternoon. Horrible leg pain... Well basically horrible pain anywhere but my back. And my stomach? Well that wasn't going so well, all yucky and nauseous... And well when you feel this horrible, your emotional state isn't very well either. Now today I've been up and down (the up isn't very high but the down is definitely very down!) but I actually managed to get out of the house to go eat with my mom, sister, and brother. While my sister and I were waiting for them to get the food, I decided to entertain her with some photo action! ;)
